RACHEL ROSEHAGEN

Rachel Rosenhagen, LAc, began her journey with acupuncture at the young age of thirteen. She started experiencing daily nausea at the age of ten, which progressed to chronic, nonstop nausea within a few months. After years of extensive medical testing, no answers or solutions were found. During this time, eating became increasingly more difficult, her weight dropped to alarmingly low levels, and her immune system became compromised, which forced her to stop attending public school and most activities. At this point, her family began exploring alternative and complementary medicines, which led her to acupuncture.

She started seeing improvements in her health immediately: the nausea completely subsided, though only for a short time, after her first acupuncture treatment. Her symptoms continued to improve significantly with each visit, and she attributes acupuncture to giving her the ability to move forward and lead a normal and healthy life. After her first few visits, she knew that she would someday study Chinese medicine in order to bring hope and relief to others who are experiencing chronic or unresolved health issues.

Her credentials include the following:

• Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine – Midwest College of Oriental Medicine

• Bachelors of Arts in Nutrition – Midwest College of Oriental Medicine

• NCCAOM board-certified

• Certified National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) practitioner

• This enables her to use a unique set of auricular acupuncture points to help patients detox from addictive substances, improve PTSD, and lower stress levels.

• Neuro-Emotional Technique Specialist

• Addresses physical ailments caused by emotions or past traumas.
